Both PND and PTSD, are common conditions after having a traumatic and stressful pregnancy and birth.  If you think you suffering from either of these you might need to seek help.

  • Local Counsellers
  • Local Psychologists
  • Community Groups Specialising in Birth Trauma. 
  • Local Child Health Nurse - They are a great resource so if you are struggling let them know and they will be able to point you in the right direction to get help.

PANDA - have a help line 1300 726 306, available MON- FRI, 10am - 5pm. 

Beyond Blue -  Have a number of resources for both PND and PTSD, a helpline and web chat are also available.
